A Legend Passes

Legendary Australian Maitre John Fethers passed away in Melbourne last night.

His contribution to Victorian and Australian Fencing is vast and enormous and he will be sadly missed.

Australian School Foilist Win


Victorian Foilist Chris Nagle has fulfilled a dream, not only is he living in England and studying at Harrow, but he has just won the exclusive Public Schools Championships.  Chris won the title consisting of 113 entrants.

The last Harrow student to win the title was ……Winston Churchill.
Great work Chris,

Australian Epeeist in Russia


Jo Halls has been competing in Europe and this week (20/3/10) she fenced in Lobnya (Moscow).

Jo had a good seed after the poules and after winning her 64 match, lost a close match against Duplitzer 15-13 and thus has qualified for the World Champs in Paris at the end of the season.

Garrison Liu is refereeing in the Asian Juniors in Manilla in March,

David Baker is appointed referee for Youth Olympics in Singapore in August

Asian Championships 2010


The Asian Championships are being held this year in Seoul, South Korea.

7-13th July 2010.

Expressions of interest are avialable via the AFF website.

Team Selection will be determined after expressions.
