Victoria was awarded the Cyclone Cup of 2008 as the best performed State at the National Championships in Sydney earlier this month.  Victoria last won the Cup 14 years ago, but 2008 was a more successful year!

2nd: New South Wales (96pts)
3rd: Queensland (103pts)
4th: South Australia (112pts)
5th: New Zealand (117pts)
6th: Western Australia (118pts)
7th: Australian Capital Territory (120pts)

Victorian Fencing Club -: VRI FC also swept the awards for:
Best overall Club, Best Foil Club, Best Epee Club and Best Sabre Club congratulations to VRI.
